Ayse is an accomplished lawyer (licensed in Türkiye) who brings deep, specialized experience in banking and finance law and regulatory compliance—expertise directly leveraged by Atik Law clients in complex financing, due diligence, and risk assessment. Unfortunately, she is not licensed to practice law in the United States.
From 2005 to 2016, Ayse held ascending legal and leadership roles at the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency of Turkey (BRSA). Her service included roles as an Assistant Banking Specialist (Lawyer), Banking Specialist (Lawyer), and culminating as Coordinator/Assistant Department Head. In these capacities, she honed her ability to provide authoritative legal opinions on complex banking, finance, and regulatory issues.
Her academic foundation includes a Master's thesis on "The Limit of Judicial Authority in the Legality Judgement of Administrative Decisions" from Kirikkale University in Turkey, demonstrating her early commitment to rigorous legal analysis.
As a Law Clerk and Legal Analyst, Ayse applies her regulatory and structured finance knowledge to support client needs by meticulously reviewing and preparing documentation for commercial leases, financing agreements, and due diligence packages, analyzing transaction structures and corporate documents for regulatory risk and stability, and conducting focused research on complex legal issues impacting Texas and Washington commercial law.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Ayse is a devoted mother who enjoys cooking for her family, embarking on road trips with her two sons, and finding balance through nature walks.
